Termite Inspections
A termite inspection is a visual inspection of the readily accessible areas of a home for evidence of termites and other wood-destroying organisms. Inspectors will visually inspect the entire interior of your home (including accessing and entering any sub-space such as basements and crawlspaces) as well as the exterior of the property. In areas where Drywood termites are prevalent, and in houses where there are no sub-areas, the attic may also be accessed and inspected. After the inspection has been performed, the findings are reported so that we may give you a complete and accurate estimate.

Rodents

Controlling Rodents with Fumigation

Rats will undermine building foundations and concrete slabs. Mice are particularly destructive to building insulation. Most common types of insulation, including rigid foam and fiberglass bats, are susceptible to rodent damage. A rodent infestation can cause thousands of dollars in damage in a matter of months. Additionally, rodents frequently gnaw on electrical wiring, causing equipment malfunctions, power outages, and fires as a result of short circuits. Rat and mice populations decrease during colder weather, but you may see the pests more often because they tend to move indoors to find warmer nesting sites.

Baits are particularly effective on social insects such as ants and termites, because these pests collect food and share it with their colony.

Because of this food-sharing ability, slow-acting insecticide baits such as the recommended ones listed below are best for controlling ants, so the ant carrying it does not die before it returns to the colony.
